“My case was very special,” says Judah Wilson, reflecting on a moment that has defined his life at age five. “And honestly, I believe, supernatural.”

That summer afternoon, he slipped beneath the water of a swimming pool. He was under for ten minutes before anyone noticed.

“By the grace of God, a pediatric nurse happened to be there,” he recalls. “She came over and started CPR after I was pulled out.”

Despite her training and persistence, the situation looked hopeless. She turned to Judah’s father and said it was too late—but continued CPR anyway.

“While she kept going, my dad began to pray in Jesus’ name,” Judah says. “He spoke words of faith, declaring I would live.”

Amazingly, Judah suddenly coughed, expelled water, and became conscious.

“I believe it was the combination of her doing CPR and my dad’s faith in Jesus,” he says. “That’s what saved me.”

Judah says he shares his story not to seek attention, but to highlight the importance of being prepared and having faith.

“CPR played a vital role,” he says. “It bought the time needed for what happened next. Everyone should learn it—you never know whose life it might help save.”
